Latest Update: Flipboard is Taking More Steps Towards Fediverse
Flipboard announced embracing the decentralized social networking protocols and stepping forward to Fediverse from Mastodon. Flipboard is integrating Mastodon into its main app. And this news reading app has also started up a Flipboard’s Mastodon instance, which provides users with an entrance to Fediverse. According to Flipboard CEO Mike McCue, these are two first initial steps towards decentralized services like Mastodon away from Twitter and Facebook, which are increasingly hostile to other developers.
Flipboard is a kind of News & Magzine app available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices. It presents the magazine form that combines the content of Facebook and Sina for users to read.
Different from the other similar application, flipboard has its unique design, that is, lots of touch operations make it more charming. Users can see more contents when click on one passage; it will play in the passage when to click on a video.
